Rack Servers by Height Unit: 1U, 2U, or 4U

Our rack servers cover every space and performance requirement in a 19-inch rack. 1U servers offer maximum density for data centers with limited rack space. 2U servers are the flexible all-rounders, providing the best balance of expandability, cooling, and space requirements. 4U servers maximize capacity: extensive storage arrays, multiple expansion cards, and redundant power supplies. And for the highest level of AI deployment, our HGX flagship models go up to 5U.

Servers by Application: From Storage to AI

To make your selection in the configurator as easy as possible, we divide our server systems into two main categories: by physical size in the server rack (rack units) and by the specific use case in your company.

Storage servers provide high storage capacity with numerous hot-swap bays for secure data storage on the network, including as a foundation for databases and backups. For training and inference of large language models, you can configure your AI server with up to 8 NVIDIA H200s, based on the NVIDIA HGX server platform if desired.

Every MIFCOM server is assembled in Munich and thoroughly tested before shipment. Before being approved in the Configurator, each component undergoes a compatibility process in which we test heat generation under continuous load and system stability. Error-correcting DDR5 ECC memory protects your systems from data corruption during continuous operation. We provide a 3-year warranty on all servers, regardless of the manufacturers’ warranties for individual components. Business customers, public institutions, and system integrators also benefit from volume discounts, dedicated account managers, purchase on account or leasing, and optional premium service with on-site replacement. Which hardware can I configure a MIFCOM server with? You can choose between AMD EPYC 9005 and Intel Xeon Scalable v5 or Xeon 6 processors, in single or dual socket systems with up to two CPUs. Add up to 4,608 GB of DDR5 ECC memory, NVMe storage with PCIe 5.0 and hot-swap bays, and up to 8 GPUs such as NVIDIA H100 or H200, optionally on the NVIDIA HGX platform.

How does MIFCOM ensure server reliability? Before any component is released in the configurator, it passes a test procedure covering compatibility, heat development under sustained load and system stability. In addition, every assembled system is tested under full load before shipping. Error-correcting ECC memory protects against data corruption in continuous operation.

What warranty and business terms are available? MIFCOM grants a 3-year warranty on all servers, independent of the manufacturers' warranties on individual components.
