Custom Workstation: Freely Configure the CPU, GPU, RAM, and Storage
With the MIFCOM Workstation Configurator, you can build your own professional workstation component by component: You choose one of eight base platforms and then configure the processor, graphics cards, RAM, storage, cooling, and case to suit your specific needs. The configurator automatically checks the compatibility of all components, ensuring that every possible configuration is a working one. The result is a custom-built workstation, ranging from a compact entry-level workstation for image editing to a multi-GPU system for AI and rendering.
The Optimal Processor: Eight Different Platforms Ranging from 6 to 128 Cores
You can choose from all the latest workstation platforms from AMD and Intel as a foundation. For high-clock-speed everyday and creative workloads: AMD Ryzen 9000 (up to 16 cores) and Intel Core Ultra (up to 8+16 cores). For core-intensive applications such as rendering, simulation, and AI: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9000 (up to 64 cores), Threadripper PRO 9000 (up to 96 cores, 192 threads, 8-channel RAM, and 128 PCIe lanes), and Intel Xeon W (up to 60 cores, W790 platform with 112 PCIe lanes). And if one socket isn’t enough: Intel Xeon Scalable as a single- or dual-Xeon system with up to 128 cores. On supported platforms, you can upgrade to ECC memory, which automatically corrects bit errors during long calculations.
Graphics performance on demand: from a single GPU to a multi-GPU cluster
In the configurator, you can choose between NVIDIA GeForce RTX, professional NVIDIA RTX PRO, and AMD Radeon PRO graphics cards—with up to four GPUs running in parallel, depending on the platform. GPU renderers like OctaneRender and Redshift scale with each additional card, as do many AI and deep learning workflows. For CAD and 3D applications, ISV-certified NVIDIA RTX PRO cards are available, which have been officially approved by manufacturers such as Autodesk for AutoCAD, Inventor, 3ds Max, and Maya. Video walls with up to 16 screens in 4K resolution can also be driven by a cluster of multiple professional graphics cards.
Memory, Storage, and Silent Options
Depending on the platform, you can configure up to 1,536 GB of DDR5 ECC RAM, along with the fastest NVMe SSDs—in a RAID array for maximum data throughput, if desired—supplemented by large hard drives for archives. If you want the workstation to operate particularly quietly, choose whisper-quiet power supplies with 80 PLUS Platinum or Titanium certification and Zero-Fan mode, Silent or Premium cases, as well as silent fans and sound insulation, so that the only thing you hear at your workstation is your own work.
How the Workstation Configurator Works
Building your own workstation involves four steps: First, select the base platform that suits your workload. Second, you customize all components while the configurator automatically checks compatibility in the background. Third, you select extras such as the operating system, RAID, or silent configuration. Fourth, you place your order, and we manufacture, test, and deliver your system. If you’re still weighing which CPU class and graphics card your workflow really needs before configuring, our workstation buying guide will lead you to the right configuration with specific recommendations for each use case. You can find an overview of preconfigured systems for popular software in our workstation section.
Custom-built and tested under full load for continuous operation
Every configured MIFCOM workstation is custom-built according to your specifications, with clean cable management for optimal airflow and quiet operation. Before shipment, every system undergoes a stress test lasting several hours, during which the processor, graphics cards, and RAM are tested together under full load, along with a visual and technical quality inspection. We provide a 3-year warranty on all systems, including pick-up and return service, as well as lifetime, free support.
We also support businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions with dedicated account managers, proposals for bids, purchase on account, or leasing options. Please contact our B2B team directly—by phone, email, or live chat.
