Gaming Mini-Tower PC: Compact Gaming PCs as Micro-ATX Towers

Compared to standard ATX desktop gaming PCs, the smaller and more compact Micro-ATX gaming towers have virtually no drawbacks, provided you’re not seeking the absolute maximum in specs. While Micro-ATX motherboards have fewer specialized features and offer fewer expansion options than larger ATX models, they still allow you to install the same processors and graphics cards, as well as the same amount of RAM and multiple SSDs and hard drives.

µATX Gaming PCs as a Compact Middle Ground

Micro-ATX gaming PCs can be seen as the ideal middle ground between large, heavy, and bulky ATX systems and tiny ITX systems. Even on Micro-ATX motherboards, you can usually install one or two additional expansion cards alongside the graphics card—or, alternatively, a high-end graphics card that requires more than two slots. This way, these systems strike a balance between large and small, as they don’t waste space but still offer plenty of expansion options—fully customizable in our configurator.

The slightly larger dimensions compared to ITX systems offer the advantage that no compromises need to be made regarding cooling, even for high-end components. This has two consequences: on the one hand, you have the option to install top-of-the-line components, or to use the dimensions to create a particularly quiet yet still compact system with large coolers.

Furthermore, our configurator offers a wide selection of cases—from opaque, sound-insulated premium cases to RGB cases with multiple glass side panels for an unobstructed view of the illuminated hardware. We also offer cases specifically optimized for airflow, should maximum performance combined with low temperatures be particularly important to you.
